When I do these monthly posts I often spend quite some time thinking about what to write about. Well, for August it was easy: I was all set to publish my second novel Deathway! This time, using the wonderful platform draft2digital in order to distribute the book to various different stores (and not being limited to Amazon)! The only reason I haven’t done it sooner is because me and Claire were in the process of moving.
That said, the book Deathway is now getting processed and/or approved and in the coming few days I’ll update with the links to where it can be bought from (both ebook or printed)! It should cost about $3 for ebook and $15 for printed version (depending on the site I think?). I still need to update the online version on this website to the latest fixes and edits.
I’m so excited and honestly quite in disbelief that this is now my second self-published book! I did consider trying to find an agent or publisher, but found out that when I do that, I just end up being paralyzed, or wasting time (with no response) and ultimately not accomplishing anything. Marketing and networking are two skills that I am terrible at and that might honestly never change. That said, I’d love to have a professional editor and go through a publishing house, so if anyone haas any connections, please let me know!
For me personally, I decided to redouble my efforts instead to getting this book into print. It’s been two years late anyway because of my lovely two demonic creatures – also known as beagles. Love them. They’re crazy.
Anyway, second book done, many more to come!
