The Greatest Djinn Short Story, Deathway first draft, more Reviews

For this week’s blog update, there are several things going on all at once in my life at the moment. Specifically, when it comes to my writing, I have focussed on a few different projects.

First of all, like anticipated in last week’s blog post, I was able to complete my second novel called Deathway on June 8th, which at 92,587 words long is a little over half the length of Lambda. I think this time I planned for it much better, so the story should be more cohesive. I also decided to make it much smaller in scope – I’m trying out different ideas and whatnot, this time focussing more on the details in a very contained setting. By the end of June I will start editing and posting each chapter on this website as they become available. Stay tuned!

In order to refresh my mind and step away from that particular story, I was focusing on other writings for the rest of this past week. Most importantly, I want to emphasize a new short story, titled The Greatest Djinn. It is based on an idea my wife suggested some time ago and I think it turned out quite great the greatest.

Also, I caught up on some of my all-time favorite games (plus one game I hated) and transformed them into 30 second reviews:

Any feedback welcome as always!

Also, it’s been quite a while since I last posted this, so here’s again my shameless self-promotion for my fist book, Lambda, if you want to support my writing:
